JUSCO extends water tanker services to meet water crisis

Published on:

JUSCO, a 100 per cent subsidiary of Tata Steel as part of its CSR activities extended water tanker services to areas where there is acute water crisis and no provision of tap water.

As a responsible corporate, JUSCO has provided two mini trucks mounted with water tanker of 4000 liter capacity each of drinking water for Bagaunhatu and Birsanagar area on a daily basis.

The water tanker has been handed over to JNAC on May 13 to be sent to the above areas as per the requirement.  Message on conservation of water and its judicious use is also being communicated regularly so that consumers are made aware of the importance of water and is not wasted.

Summer is at its peak and water is the most precious commodity during these times. All hand pumps and bore wells have dried and temperature has crossed 43 degree centigrade. And ask those who do not get enough water to do their routine jobs, forgot about drinking.
