The resource persons, including Madhusudan Ganguly, l K Giri and Manisha Rani threw light on various aspects of the mediation process. Giri said that the role of a judge, who refers a case, is vital for making the mediation process successful. He said that both the parties should be taken into confidence and made aware of the benefits of mediation. “Sometimes, one party or the other is not aware of the fact his/her has been referred to the mediation centre,” he added.

Several judicial officers, including Family Court Principal Judge C P Asthana, Yogeshwar Mani and DlSA Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh were present on the occasion.
