The Jharkhand State Real Estate Regulatory Authority (JSRERA) has rejected applications for registration of 15 housing projects that either are coming up or have been completed for want of necessary documents required for registration.
The authority has published a notice citing rejection of the application for registration of projects of both high rise as well as some housing complexes.
The main reason sighted for rejection mentioned happens to be nonsubmission of the required documents . The notice was published in the last week of August in newspapers. The rejection list has been issued by signature of the chairperson of the authority.
Interestingly, in most of the cases, especially high-rise buildings, the builders and developers have already handed it over to the owners about two to three years ago . The owners have also rented the flats despite the rejection of registration with JSRERA.
One of the builders of a prominent high-rise complex that has come up in a prominent locality of the city said under condition of anonymity , it's an arms twisting move of the authority as all relevant documents were submitted with authority. The issue has been informed to the builders association, he said.
Secretary of the district builders association Binay Singh said that the association would discuss the issue and take appropriate action as would be required.
