Tata Power ‘s joint venture Maithon Power ltd (MPl) with Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), has been honoured with second runners up award by Jharkhand State Pollution Control Board (JSPCB ) for environment management.
Speaking on the achievement, K. Chandrashekhar, CEO & ED - Maithon Power ltd, said, “It is an honour to have been conferred by JSPCB for Environment Management. We humbly acknowledge this honour with pride and will ensure continued commitment towards protecting the environment.

The JSPCB is a statutory authority to ensure proper implementation of the statutes, judicial and legislative pronouncements related to environmental protection within the state of Jharkhand. last year, MPl was conferred for Rain Water Harvesting by JSPCB.
