Jharkhand State Commission for Women (JSCW) chairperson Mahua Maji urged the students of Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS) to aware the community on rights related to women empowerment.
“As management students it is your moral responsibility to educate the public on their rights especially the women,” said Maji on Saturday at a felicitation ceremony of Human Resources Management (HRM) and Information Technology Management (ITM) students marking outstanding performance in the social service field work.
Around 72 students of HRM and 56 students of ITM were presented certificates for their social services at reputed humanitarian organizations like St Xavier’s School, St Michael School for Blind, Brajkishore Netrohin Balika Vidyalaya, Government Middle School Upper bazaar, Gurunanak Home for Handicapped Children, Cheshire Home, Nav Bharat J Kendra, CIP and RINPAS.
