A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) going to be executed on June 25 as Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) is going to sign a lease agreement with SAIL BOKARO STEEL PLANT at Bokaro for the construction of another International Cricket Stadium in Jharkhand.
The JSCA Secretary said The proposed stadium will not only change the face of sports in the state of Jharkhand by catering to the growing requirements of state and district players but will also place Jharkhand at par on the sports map with the states having two International Stadiums. It will also pave the way for organizing simultaneous preparatory, skill, conditioning camps for Men and Women cricketers which will give a boost to Cricket in the state of Jharkhand.
It is worth mentioning that Bokaro Steel city is always known for the Steel industrial belt but after the construction of this International cricket stadium ,Bokaro’s identity will also be top in the field of Sports.
