Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) on Wednesday presented 25 pieces of PPE kits and 1000 three Ply Masks to RMC. JPCC Spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan Prasad handed over the kits and masks to Ranchi Municipal Commissioner (RMC), Manoj Kumar.

Addressing the media on the occasion Prasad appealed to Ranchi Mayor Asha Lakra that she should also cooperate in the hour of crisis instead of doing politics at the Municipal Office on trivial issues.

"The entire Country and every department of the State are struggling against Corona virus, while the Mayor is constantly disturbing the Government through her petty politics which is highly condemnable. The RMC has been continuously collecting crores of rupees from the people through holding tax, through user surcharge water tax, after that in the hour of crisis it is not working properly to solve problems related to drinking water crisis, hand pumps repairing, sanitization, cleaning drains and others. To hide their inaction to provide basic amenities to the people of the State Capital, the Mayor is crying for money while the previous State Government also allocated crores of rupees for these works. The Urban Development Secretary of the present State Government also assured them that the allotment process is under process it will pay soon so that it should start all the necessary works," said Prasad.

Meanwhile, Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Relief Committee is also coordinating with thousands of migrant launderers for their safe return. In order to doing so five member committee including Ptadip Tulsyan, Lal Kishorenath Shahdeo, Alok Dubey and others shortlisted names of large numbers of migrant people.

JPCC Spokesperson Alok Dubey informed that the committee is constantly working for the people stranded in outside the State to bring back them to Jharkhand.

Speaking on the occasion Congress Legislative Party leader and Rural Development Minister Alamgir Alam said that the party is working for the safely home return for migrant workers on one side and on the other hand, the Rural Development Department is working to provide employments to people through MNREGA. The Departments has started to provide jobs to people through MGNREGA, he added.

Congress MLA from Khijri, Rajesh Kachhap said on the occasion that the Congress Party always fights for the poor. He said that there is only one objective before the party to get rid of the epidemic and it is sure that the people of Jharkhand will successfully defeat Corona in the State.

Shahdeo said that the State Congress Committee is working to help people during the epidemic while the leader of BJP are only doing the politics to confuse the people of the State.
