After this, Jan-Jagran Yatra was welcomed in a grand manner at Gamharia of Seraikela-Kharsawan district. After that a street meeting was organized, which was addressed by the State president.

State President Rajesh Thakur said that the Modi government is only trying to crush the poor by increasing inflation and harassing the public even during the period of this epidemic by imposing high burden of tax and inflation. Through this public awareness, the Congress party is working to give a platform to the common man, who is angered due to the wrong policies of the Central government. Today the Central government wants to make the truth false. Our forefathers worked for the freedom of the country. Whereas the present government is doing the work of patting the back of such people, who are doing the work of humiliating the freedom fighters of the country. It is working to reward such people, while they should be arrested.

Geeta Koda said that in today’s era the most troubled are the housewives, who are facing a lot of difficulty in making and running the budget of their house. Due to the wrong policies of those who were given gas stove in the name of Ujjwala scheme in this Central Government, today they do not have the money to fill the cylinder and they are forced to light the stove again. Bandhu Tirkey said that ever since the BJP government came to the Center, inflation is increasing continuously. Excise tax on petrol and diesel has been increased 37 times at a time when the employment of crores of people has been snatched away.

The general public, farmers, laborers, youth are all in distress. By increasing the price of petrol and diesel, the central government has done the work of putting financial burden on the whole routine. Today, every Congress worker is going among the people and working to make the public aware and connect the public with this important public awareness campaign.

Tomorrow, on November 17, Jan-Jagran Rath will leave for Simdega district in the morning and will go to Gumla and Lohardaga along with Jan-Jagran Rath by participating in the program organised under Jan-Jagran Abhiyan.
