Joyous BJP overshadows rival camps

They came, they saw, they shook their head in disbelief or burst in joy as the news reached to them from the close confinement of the heavily guarded area of Pandra Bazaar Samiti, where the counting votes for Ranchi parliamentary constituency took place on Friday. The mood that was similar across party workers in the morning started varying according to the reality as the counting progressed.

It was all posturing by workers of respective camps since the counting began with each camp smirking in triumph. The five camps that were setup outside the Bazaar Samiti were bustling with people expecting that the Sun will sign over their candidate.

Interestingly, all parties except the Trinamool Congress had setup camps for their workers to help in compiling votes polled in favour of their candidate.

Even as the party workers were settling themselves counting for the first and second round started throwing surprises. The news that the BJP’s candidate Ram Tahal Chaudhary is leading over arch rival Subodh Kant Sahay brought cheer to the BJP camp however the Congress’ camp scoffed at the early warning.
