Reviewing complaints filed under Jan Samwad, Joint Secretary, CM Secretariat Pramod Kumar Tiwary ordered action against Executive Engineer of Drinking Water and Sanitation Department, East Singhbhum for irregularities in water supply in the region.
Jan Samvad centre was informed that charges for water supply were submitted by 300 households but water connection reached only 30 households. He ordered the officials at fault here to report to CM Secretariat, and they will be suspended later.
Such discrepancies present State Government in a bad light, stated Tiwari.
In a complaint from Palamu, Tiwari ordered Health Department to disburse financial aid to a cancer patient from the district. Nodal Officer informed him that the patient has been asked to submit the estimated cost of treatment.
Against a complaint from Katkamsandi from Hazaribagh, Tiwari ordered responsible Nodal Officer to check quack doctors from operating in the area, as several lives have been lost due to their faulty treatment.
