Over 55 companies visited NIT Jamshedpur during the second phase of campus placements. A total of 65 companies had visited in the first phase taking the total companies to 120. A total of 530 offers have been made by the 120 companies.“Despite the downturn in no of students recruited by mass recruiters across NITs we have been able to sustain our placements through expanding the number of companies visiting our campus. This year we saw many companies visiting NIT Jamshedpur for a 2nd phase of hiring. Futures First, Samsung R&D, ZS Associates, Capgemini, Tega Industries are the companies which revisited,” said Deepak Chowrasia, media relations in-charge, NIT Jamshedpur.
The biggest recruiter with the highest CTC in phase 2 was BPCl offering a CTC of 14.17lPA to 12 students, Future first 9.2 2 Offers, Huawei Technologies 10 lPA 3 offers, Cerner 8.1lPA 3 offers Hindalco 6lpa 7 offers, Kirloskar brothers 5 lPA 8 offers.
Akash Institute, Tata Tinplate, Jamipol, BCH Electric, Vodaphone, Gupta power, Uttam Galva , Usha Martin, SNl Bearing, Allen Institute, M junction, JSW, Afcons, Bridge & Roof, Rao IIT, were the some of the major recruiters of second phase.
