Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) on Friday termed the Chief Minister, Hemant Soren led Government’s employment policy as historic and also welcomed the decision of one examination in JSSC instead of two.

JMM spokesperson-cum-General Secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya said the decision of the Government has put an end to the confusion in the appointments. He said that the Hemant Government has taken this decision to protect the honour of the locals, tribals and those who are backward and poor.

The party spokesperson also said that the State Government had said in the beginning of the year that the year will be year of appointments so that the Government has expedited the work so that local people could get jobs in the State Government’s job.

“Those who are doing Government job or are in private company and are living outside the State, then their rights will not be killed since their children are locals, tribal, dalit or backward caste. The appointments of the secretariat cadre by the cabinet and the procedures it had were very complicated. The provision has been simplified to eliminate those complications,” Bhattacharya said.

The party spokesperson also criticised the Central Government for changing the name of biggest ward in sports — Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award on the name of legendary Hockey Player, Dhyanchand and said that the Central Government has done trivial and baseless politics by renaming the award. It will start a similar policy in the country, he added.

Replying to a question, Bhattachrya said there are no discrepancies in the adding of regional languages in the employment policy, all the languages are included and talked in different parts of the State. On the basis of Bihar, Urdu included in the list as a second language, he added.
