Main ruling party in the State Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) decided that this time the party will work to expose the character of the BJP in upcoming Gujarat assembly elections.
Addressing a press meet at the party headquarter in the State Capital on Tuesday JMM General Secretary and Spokesperson, Supriyo Bhattacharya said that the JMM will expose the BJP's moves, character and face in the 40 reserved seats which is 27 Scheduled Tribes and 13 Scheduled Castes of the Gujarat Assembly. When he was asked whether any leader of the party would go to Gujarat to campaign for any party, he only said that in today's era, he also knows how to fly birds and measure the distance from Ranchi to Ahmedabad.
Attacking heavily on Election Commission of India (ECI), Bhattacharya named the Central Election Commission (ECI) the Election Convenience of Individuals, that is, organizing elections for personal convenience. He said that the voting for the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections will be held on November 12 before this, on 9 and 10, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will go for the Himachal Pradesh election campaign. “Then the Gujarat Assembly elections, whose first voting is to be held on December 1, will be notified on November 14. It is clear that giving rest from the first election, then preparing for the second election. That is, the nature of the Election Commission has changed today. Election Convenience of Individual means that after the election campaign of one state is over, go to another State again,” he added.
The JMM leader said, Gujarat where there are 182 seats, there are also 27 scheduled tribe seats but the election will be held in two phases. Similarly, Jharkhand has 81 seats. “Here also 28 seats are reserved for STs but why are there elections held in five phases? You have to understand this game. How is the election being managed now? Now it seems that elections are now only a constitutional process, so it has to be followed. After a few days it will also happen that why conduct elections from which private company to get the survey done? Which party will give more money to the company? His government will be formed,” he added.
“Making tribals only a toy has become the destiny of the BJP. Everyone knows how Dalits were subjected to atrocities in Gujarat. In Jharkhand also the tribal Chief Minister is being harassed. In such a situation, now we will identify the 27 scheduled tribe seats and 13 scheduled caste seats in Gujarat and work to highlight the faces of the BJP there,” said Bhattacharya.
