Jharkhand Mukti Morcha Chief Shibu Soren asked his party colleagues to prepare for Assembly elections. On the conclusion of the two days central committee meet at Bokaro the Shibu Soren-led party also made it clear that it would contest independently in the forth coming lok Sabha and Assembly poll in Jharkhand.
Though on the issue of Government formation with the support of the Congress Hemant Soren toed a similar line. "We are still ready to form alliance Government amid JMM leaders' demands to dissolve the Assembly earliest. They want elected Government soon in the State. But now decision has to be taken by Congress only”, he said. He was talking to the newsmen at Hans Mandap after concluding the two days party’s central committee meets. “We are ever ready for election. President Rule hinders the Jharkhand progress. It is a barrier in holistic development”, he added.Beside JMM supremo only 9 party MlAs — Jagarnath Mahato, Vishnu Bhiya, Paulis Surin, Hazi Hussan Ansari, Champai Soren, Mathura Mahato including others were present during the meet.
