JMM to arrange tents for Army Rally aspirants

Terming the government insensitive for not providing basic facilities to the candidates coming here to participate in Army Recruitment Rally (ARR) at Morhabadi ground in Ranchi, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has decided to provide all facilities like tents, toilets and other requirements to them. The rally has been organised from October 4 to October 14 in Ranchi for which around 75,000 candidates from all over the State have registered themselves through online registration.

“It shows how insensitive this government is which cannot arrange even the basic facilities like toilets and shelter for the aspiring soldiers of our country who are forced to sleep in the open on beside the roads. This is the same government which is known for spending several crores on government and party programmes but has no money for the youths,” said JMM General Secretary Vinod Pandey here on Monday. It is really unfortunate that this is happening just under the nose of the Government officials, who are residing nearby who witness this everyday during morning walk, he added.

“JMM Chief Shibu Soren and acting President Hemant Soren have decided to arrange tents for the candidates around the ground along with drinking water, toilets and other basic facilities,” said Pandey. They have also appealed the Government and his officials to take the issue seriously and do the needful, he added.

Referring to the frequent visits of BJP National President Amit Shah to Jharkhand, Pandey said that it shows the restlessness of both State and National unit of the party towards their political future in Jharkhand.
