JMM terms LPG price reduction a mockery

Ruling party in the State Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), on Monday, termed the reduction of Rs 200 in domestic LPG cylinders as a mockery and not a gift.

Issuing a press release, JMM General Secretary and Spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ridiculed the beneficiary women under the Ujjwala Yojana by not giving them Rs 200 reduction in the payment of their gas cylinders. “It is like offering blood to the mortal body of a healthy man after slitting his throat. The ever-increasing inflation, decreasing employment, increasing unemployment, continuous atrocities on tribals and Dalits in the Country are testimony to the direction towards which the country is heading today,” he added.

The JMM leader said that how despotic the BJP's ruling system has become today, which in Haryana's Nuh brutally tortured the minority community and destroyed their homes by identifying them. “Under the leadership of Babasaheb Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar prepared after tireless hard work and deliberations of eminent and far-reaching thinkers from all over the Country,, the leaders of BJP, who talk about changing our constitution, have to tell that by giving a grant of Rs 200 what economy does the Modi Government talk about by waiving off Rs 20,0000 loans of capitalists,” he added.
