ATown Committee meeting of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha held on Sunday to review its performance in the rescinded Mayoral poll on April 08. A unanimous decision was taken to continue Antu Tirky as its Mayoral candidate from Ranchi in the coming elections.
“We have decided to participate wholeheartedly in the coming Mayoral election which is yet to be announced by the Election Commission,” said Town Committee President of JMM Antu Tirky.
The decision to back Antu Tirky was taken as he had fair chances of winning if the election would not had been repealed.
“The committee extended its support to me as its candidate for the Mayoral election and have decided to participate in the elections whole heartedly. Although, we had little resources we performed well in the last elections, we will not put our foot backward,” Tirky added.
“We have already exhausted our resources and still hopeful of winning the Mayoral elections, he said.
