As per the instructions of their senior leaders the JMM party workers registered their protest by showing black flag to Central agriculture minister Radha Mohan Singh at Mandu during the foundation laying programme of KVK. Though it was an official programme but neither State Agriculture minister Yogendra Sao nor local MlA minister Jai Prakash Bhai Patel shared the dais with the Union Minister, both remained absent from the programme. The people of Mandu were surprised to see RJD State general secretary Sahid Siddique sharing dais with the Central minister. After the programme it became a hot topic of the talks in both Hazaribagh and Ramgarh districts.
