JMM links Heera Bhagat with BJP

Heera Bhagat has relation with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and he is relative of BJP MLC, Kishangaj, said Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), General Secretary and Spokesperson, Supriyo Bhattacharya on Saturday in press meet held at the party headquarter in the State Capital.

Bhattacharya said according to media reports the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided several places in Sahibganj district of the State in connection with the many laundering cases and one of them is stone mining businessman, Hira Bhagat from where ED recovered some money. According to media reports, there were some corners, he added.

“Hira Bhagat is the cousin of Dilip Jaiswal, MLC of Kishanganj. The question is, why the name of BJP MLC Dilip Jaiswal did not come up after the ED raid. Why was the name of CM Hemant Soren thrown up? Actually, this is a conspiracy of the BJP to set a narrative against the Hemant Government,” said Bhattacharya.

The party General Secretary said that the real matter is that 75 per cent of the Country's coal goes from Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and West Bengal and there is no BJP Government in these four states. “In this chaos, these vicious circles are being created. The only goal of BJP is to destabilize West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and destroy Jharkhand. ED is being resorted to for this. At present, only Ranchi's ED office is open in the country. The rest are closed. The BJP has changed the meaning of ED to End of Democracy,” he added.

Bhattacharya said that repeatedly linking any investigation process directly with the State is a conspiracy to defame the state. “MNREGA scam belongs to Arjun Munda's tenure. In the scam, Pooja Singhal was given a clean chit in the Raghuvar Government and the matter was caught during the tenure of Hemant Sarkar. It is being linked to Hemant Soren. Meaning that even today there are people with colonialist and feudalistic thinking in the state who do not want the government of tribal-native indigenous people to be formed,” he added.

Bhattacharya said that it should also be investigated that from 2014 to 2019, how many people got the stone mining lease in Sahibganj and how many got the license of crusher. Everyone's name and their political connections should also come out.
