To chalk out strategy for the party conference scheduled to be held at Jamshedpur on April 16, 17 and 18, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) held a meeting at the residence of party chief Shibu Soren on Sunday. The party sources confirmed the members of the three committees have made some radical suggestions at the meeting to be taken up during the conference at Jamshedpur.
“looking at the changing scenario in the political circles, some important suggestions have been made by the members of the three committees to be discussed during the conference in Jamshedpur,” said party leader Vinod Pandey.
The meeting was attended by the members of Parliamentary Committee, Political Proposal Committee and Forward Programme and Outlining Committee of the party, Party Chief Shibu Soren, former Chief Minister Hemant Soren and other top shots in the party like Supriyo Bhattacharya, Stephen Marandi, Mathura Mahto, Jagannath Matho etc.
Sources in the party also confirmed that a decision to protest against the land Acquisition Bill was also taken during the meeting on Sunday. The party will also take decision on the central committees.
“A proposal has been made to minimize the structure of central committees as well as working committee of the party on which the party will take decision during the conference at Jamshedpur,” added Pandey.
