Ruling alliance in the State JMM and Congress hit back on BJP State Chief, Babulal Marandi, who has been attacking Hemant Soren and his family in land trade issues. The alliance partners said that Babulal is trying to hide his illegal works but it will not work as the people of the State will see it.
Addressing a press meet at the party headquarter on Friday JMM General Secretary, Supriyo Bhattacharya fiercely attacked Babulal Marandi. He alleged that Babulal Marandi had embezzled land at several places in Ranchi when he came to know that action could be taken against him for this rigging, he joined BJP. He said that ED should also take cognizance of this manipulation of Babulal Marandi.
Bhattacharya said that Santhal Pargana Private Builders Limited was registered at the address of Harmu Housing Society in 2005. “This company is in the name of three people. Babulal Marandi should be told who are Ramia Marandi and Lalima Tiwari. These are the same people behind whom Babulal Marandi's money is involved. The name of Babulal Marandi's relative is Lalima Tiwari, who is Sunil Tiwari's wife. The land that has been purchased in Santhal Pargana is registered in the name of this company. Babulal Marandi, who is spreading propaganda across the State, has falsified many plots in Ranchi city itself. ED should take cognizance on this matter also,” he added.
The party General Secretary said that the ED should investigate Santhal Pargana Private Builders Limited. He said that if the ED does not find anything in this investigation, then we will give complete evidence to the ED. He further said how the ED went to the residence of Minister Rameshwar Oraon.” If they had to ask, you could have called his son and asked. He is a minister and has been an IPS officer. He has his own importance,” he added.
Regarding the Dumri assembly by-election, Bhattacharya said that a different atmosphere is being created in Dumri regarding this. “Babulal Marandi says that he had jumped from the Qutub Minar, but the BJP saved him. The reality will be placed before the entire public with full facts and will also be sent to the ED. The way action has been taken at Bhupesh Baghel's place, the same is being done here too. The way Bhupesh Baghel is being harassed in Chhattisgarh, in the same way we are being harassed in Jharkhand as well,” he added.
