In its complaint, the delegation informed that despite a complaint by Congress Candidate, from Godda, Pradeep Yadav to the District Election Officer, Godda, no action was taken regarding concealment of information in the nomination manifesto by Nishikant Dubey. The members included in the delegation said that Podaiyahat police station case number 162/2009 and Jasidih police station case number 213/2019 which are pending in the court have not been mentioned by Nishikant Dubey in his manifesto. There has been mention of borrowing Rs 1, 20,00000 from Abhishek Jha in the name of his wife, whereas Abhishek Jha, who has filed nomination as an independent candidate from Godda Lok Sabha, has not mentioned it in his manifesto.

Talking to media persons after filing the complaint the State Congress Spokesperson, Rakesh Sinha has asked whether it was black money or white money? “If there was black money, then why did ED not reach there? We demand from the Election Commission to cancel the nomination of both the candidates,” he added.

On the occasion JMM Ranchi District President, Mushtaq Alam said that on the day of elections, BJP distributed voter slip slips with a slogan of Rs 400 written on it to the voters. “This slip was also distributed on the day of the fourth phase and is being distributed even today. The commission reached there with the complaint and a demand has been made to conduct an investigation and register an FIR,” he added.
