BJP State Vice President and former MLA Gangotri Kujur reacted strongly to JMM spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya's statement. Kujur said that NDA candidate Yashoda Devi has not lost the election, but some parties have made JMM candidate win by giving their sacrifices.
He said that the AIMIM candidate got only 3462 votes less than NOTA in the by-election instead of 24132 votes he got in the 2019 elections, this shows that the state government used all means to win the bye-election. Power and governance were blatantly misused.
She said that the kind of orgy of appeasement going on at the behest of the state government, there will be a continuous increase in it. Hemant Sarkar has succumbed to the vote bank. It is said that the people of the state have understood this conspiracy of the Hemant government very well.
She said that serious issues like corruption, crime, women harassment, loot of mineral resources, unemployment, development paralysis in the state are raising their heads like Sursa and this government wants to pat itself on the back by winning the by-elections through appeasement.
She said that in the upcoming Lok Sabha and Vidhansabha elections, the people will give a befitting defeat to this appeasement politics.
