J'khand needs strong Govt for growth: Raman

Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Dr Raman Singh flayed the JMM-led Government for its failure to live upto the expectations of the people of the State. “Hemant Soran Government in Jharkhand failed to live upto expectations of the people on every front. Be it promotion of industries, poverty alleviation, education and health care, the poor people of the State were disillusioned with the present Government and could not be taken for a ride any longer,” Singh said.

Raman Singh was addressing a huge gathering at Sunday bazaar Football ground to vote for the BJP for good governance on Saturday.

Appealing to the voters to support party candidate Yogeshwar Mahto Batul in Bermo constituency, Raman Singh said that the State, which has rich mineral resources, could feed the entire nation if it gets a good and stable government. “Only a strong and stable Government like the Modi–led Government at the Centre could help Jharkhand prosper,” he said.

“While in Chhattisgarhwe had two Chief Ministers in last 14 years, Jharkhand has seen nine CMs and three terms of President’s Rule. Jharkhand is the richest State in terms of natural resources but lack of leadership and political instability came in the way of its development. If you vote in the ongoing Assembly election the way you did in the lok Sabha polls, it will be the most prosperous State in the Country,” he added. Singh added that he was sure that there would be a BJP CM in the State. Terming Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh as siblings, Singh said his State would always work for Jharkhand. BJP leaders Saryu Roy, Prahlad Barnawal, district BJP president, Ambika Khawash, Jagarnath Ram among others were present on the occasion.
