Jharkhand Administrative Service officers have complained against Congress MLA Suresh Kumar Baitha. The officers allege that the MLA used indecent and unparliamentary language for the state service officials.
Regarding this issue, the President and General Secretary of the State Administrative Service Association met the Assembly Speaker Ravindra Nath Mahato and expressed their displeasure and demanded appropriate action.
According to the State Service Association, during a conversation with MLA Suresh Kumar Baitha on March 1, he used derogatory words towards the Block Development Officer (BDO) and Circle Officer (CO). It is clearly visible in the viral video clip that the MLA made comments like "lifting and throwing" the officers, which hurt the State Administrative Service officers.
The association says that the BDO and CO are working with full devotion to implement government schemes and take development works to the grassroots level. An example of their promptness can be clearly seen in the successful implementation of the Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana.
The association has appealed to the Assembly Speaker to take this matter seriously. They say that officers always respect MLAs and public representatives, so it is also expected from them that they should use polite and decent language towards the officials.
