Full of confidence, the newly elected MlAs in Bihar, originally from Jharkhand, only talk about development of Bihar. There are as many as four MlAs, three of JD(U) and one of Congress, who, in spite of hailing originally from Jharkhand have registered their victory in Bihar. All of them said that they will put in their 100 per cent for the development of their constituencies.

Benipur MlA Sunil Chaudhary said nothing was impossible if you have a strong will power. “I strongly believe that one can perform anywhere in this world if he has a strong and positive will power. If I can run such a big company then why I cannot do something good for the development of the people of my constituency. All you need is to develop a system in order to get people rid of their problems,” said Benipur MlA Sunil Chaudhary in Darbhanga. He has been connected to Bihar since a long time and visit the place at least thrice in a month, he said.

The newly elected Phulwari MlA Shyam Rajak  on the other hand, stressed on developing cordial relationship between the two States without playing divisive politics between the two States as being done by the BJP. “Unlike BJP, as we are peace loving people, we do not make policies against the Tribal and Jharkhandi people who are living here in Bihar since ages as we still consider Jharkhand a part of Bihar,” said Rajak. According to Rajak, he will try to keep relationship cordial with Jharkhand and see to it that it does not get further deteriorated.  I still consider Jharkhand a part of Bihar and we work on the policy of maintaining peace around us, he said.

“Both lalu Praasad and Nitish Kumar have clear intentions of maintaining cordial relationship with all hence they do not talk only of Bihar, but for the whole region.

We are demanding special status not only for Bihar but for the whole of Purwanchal so that battle against so many years of exploitation could be fought together,” Rajak said. Another MlA Amit Singh ‘Tunna’ having a Jharkhand background who got elected from Rega Assembly constituency in Samastipur, claimed that his priority will be provide batter education to the youth and will try to get more toilets constructed for the poor of his constituency.

“Although, I have been born and brought up in Jharkhand, I am not new for this constituency as I have been continuously working here for the poor for the last nine years. It is a victory of the poor people living in this constituency as they voted in my favour cutting across the caste line,” said Tunna. Counting on the problems of people of his constituency, Tunna said that his priority will be to provide better education to the youth as out of three blocks under his constituency, only one block has a college.

He said that he also has to fight a long battle to get the only sugar factory started once again under his constituency.

Ekma MlA Manorajan Singh alias Dhumal Singh, another MlA having Jharkhand connections however, could not be reached out for his reaction.
