The BJP national spokesperson, Sambit Patra, has accused the Congress party of accomplishing a ‘Tijori Safai Abhiyaan’ (cleaning the coffers) in the country during its long rule due to which they are not ready to accept the idea of real cleanliness started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Patra was talking to mediapersons in Ranchi on Sunday.
“Congress party has taught the lesson of cleaning tijori wherever it was spotted all over the country; how could they understand the meaning of real cleanliness. Those who only cleaned ‘tijori’ in their life, they would never understand the meaning of broom,” said Patra.
Patra further added that Jharkhand desperately needs a Chaukidaar (guard) like Modi who can protect each and every penny going out of the State as he himself has said that he was a chaukidar of the country. Modi could be deputed as a savior of Jharkhand only by installing a stable Government of BJP in the State, he said.
Patra attacking on Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his father Shibu Soren, alleged that father was looting coal while the son is selling away sand of the State to the outsiders. “They do not have the right to talk about the welfare of people of this State as both father and son kept the people of Jharkhand devoid of coal as well as sand by giving tenders to the outsiders of Delhi and Mumbai,” he said.
Patra also promised that the corrupt practices adopted by Hemant Soren Government will be duly probed with and proper action will be taken against him if BJP comes to power in the State.
Patra further added that the dynastic rule in Jharkhand is bound to end after the Assembly elections as was done at the Centre in New Delhi. Patra also asked t the people of Jharkhand to choose between ‘Baba’ (Rahul Baba), ‘Babu’ (Hemant Babu) or ‘Bikas’ (Development), who can take the state forward to the path of development.
Counting on the similarities of situation between Jharkhand and New Delhi Patra said, “As the Government run by mother-son duo was ended in New Delhi, here in Jharkhand also the government run by father son duo is going to end after the elections.”
“Secondly, Jharkhand is also going to have a stable Government with clear mandate after a long time as happened in New Delhi where the people got a stable Government after a long gap of 30 years under the leadership of Narendra Modi. Jharkhand also needs a similar kind of stable Government which can run of its own without taking help of any kind of crèches,” added Patra.
Alleging Congress party of running syndicate of governments of families at the centre as well as in the states wherever it is in power directly or indirectly, Patra said that ‘Yuvraj’ rule must be put to end in the States as was done at the centre.
“J&K is being ruled by ‘Abdullahs’ as ‘Sorens’ are ruling on Jharkhand; this trend of nepotism where the throne of father could only be taken over by the son must be ended both in J&K and Jharkhand,” said Patra.
It is to be decided by the people of both the States whether they need ‘Yuvrajya’ or ‘Janrajya,’ he added.
Patra also warned that those who themselves are not stable are talking about giving a stable Government in Jharkhand. They are also trying to destabilise the State for their own personal interests, he said.
