In a quick action taken against the Maoists involved in attack in Bihar on Thursday, a joint anti- Maoist operation of Jharkhand and Bihar police has been started in the border areas of Jamui, Nawada and Deoghar.
A meeting was held at the police headquarters in Ranchi to review the Naxal situation in the State.
According to police officials, Maoists from Jharkhand were involved in the Naxal attack on Dhanbad-Hatia Intercity train at Kunder Halt in Bihar. Chirag and Anum group were also said to be behind the attack.
