The Jharkhand High Court on Friday rejected review petition filed by RK Agrawal, accused in the horse-trading case during the Rajya Sabha election of 2012. The court rejected the petition filed by Agrawal to review the order passed earlier by the High Court handing over the case to the CBI.
The court of Chief Justice Prakash Tatia and Justice Apresh Singh rejected the review petition saying it was too late to approach the court. Moreover, the investigation has almost been completed which was not ordered against any particular individual, rather it was initiated against the whole scam. The name of Agarwal appeared during the investigation.
