Departmental action will be taken against teachers and principals who are negligent in filling the assessment forms of 'Project Impact', which was implemented to improve the quality of government schools in the state. Besides, the salaries of those teachers and headmasters will also be stopped. Schools should fill and submit the Project Impact assessment sheet by 5 pm on March 28, 2024 (Thursday), said State Education Project Director Aditya Ranjan, in the review meeting of Project Impact here on Wednesday. Ranjan was holding a review meeting of Project Impact today.

Aditya Ranjan said that the assessment sheet of Project Impact does not just have to be filled. It is also to be ensured that the environment in schools develops on the basis of the standards given in the assessment sheet. Not only studies, extra-curricular activities are also important in schools. From the month of May, surprise inspection of all the schools of the state will be done by the state level team. The top five schools performing better in the assessment sheet will be honoured at the state level and action will be taken against the last five performing schools.

Ranjan said that teachers and principals should implement Project Impact responsibly by establishing mutual coordination. Start a responsibility register and distribute your work equally. Set responsibilities on a daily basis.

Ranjan said that the name of the house should be based on the geographical features of the state and districts. While deciding the name of the house, include the names of major places, rivers and tourist centres of that district. A responsible teacher should be made the head of the house. One House will take responsibility for the entire morning meetings for a week. The objective of the House is to inculcate a sense of responsibility in the children, so that they develop leadership abilities. Teachers kept tagging the group continuously.

Ranjan said that the outpass system should be implemented in the classrooms. A student will be able to go out only after another student enters the class. Daily consciousness sessions are mandatory in schools.
