Nuvoco’s Jojobra Cement Plant (JCP) celebrated World Environment Day by plantation of saplings and cleanliness drive to remove plastic pollution. The cleaning drive was led by Manoj Agarwal, Senior Vice President, JCP followed by Nuvoco employees. During the drive lots of plastic wastes were collected from Sarengbera Ground, Govindpur. Talking about this year’s theme of ‘Beat Plastic Pollution’, Agarwal said, “On this World Environment Day, we should pledge to make our planet a plastic free environment, a clear reiteration of our commitment to environmental conservation.”
