Jayant Sinha, MP Hazaribagh, has come up with an innovative idea to choose a village under PM’s Ideal Village Program. “With the consent of Central Rural Development Ministry, I have started a competition for the villages in which the Mukhiyas will submit their views and requirements for making their village developed. If this idea will succeed here then the Central Government will follow it in entire country,” said Jayant.
Elaborating his idea, MP-cum-Union Minister Jayant Sinha said that he had prepared a form which the Mukhiyas would have to fill and to submit in his office Atal Bhawan, Hazaribagh, by January 16. In the first phase, one village each from all 22 blocks of Hazaribagh and Ramgarh district will be selected. The block-level winners will get special package from my MPlAD.
The selected 22 Mukhiyas and their associates will then present their views and development model before a three-man committee in which Deputy Commissioners of both Hazaribagh and Ramgarh districts will be the members. This team will select the winner, runner and second runner up. The winner village will be developed as ideal village while rest two will be given priority in every beneficiary schemes. Sinha said that the selected PM Ideal Village will get crores of rupees for overall development.
Talking about the electricity problem Jayant said that very soon it will be solved. "I have talked with CM Jharkhand, Central Energy Minister, Chairman DVC and Chairman JSEB. Things are going on in right direction and it can be hoped that within a week some fruitful result will come out," he added.MP Sinha also informed that the important road of his constituency Urimari to Keredari will be built by CCl. Before the announcement of election on my request CMD CCl Gopal Singh had accepted to build this road and now all paper works have been done, very soon work will start.
