Jayant surfs to Delhi over Modi wave

Jayant ready to take baton from Yashwant’, was the start of the election stories related with 2014 polls from Hazaribagh in which The Pioneer had said that BJP and Yashwant Sinha have decided to hand over baton to Jayant and now the decision needs approval of voters of Hazaribagh.

“It is my appeal to you that send Jayant to Delhi. I will get a competent fellow to run the government and I can assure you that Jayant will prove a gem for Hazaribagh”, these were the words of the Prime Minister designate Narendra Modi which he had said in his Vijay Sankalp Rally at Hazaribagh on April 15.

Voters not only approved the decision of both BJP and sitting MP Sinha but also voted for Jayant to represent Hazaribagh in Modi government with a margin of more than 1.5 lakhs votes. Since 1977 no one had got victory by such a huge margin from Hazaribagh parliamentary constituency.

As repeatedly being told it was the NaMo wave going on in this election which proved correct on Friday and on this wave on one side Jayant successfully surfed for Delhi while the hopes of other candidates got submerged on other side. Till May 15 Cong candidate Saurav Narayan Singh and AJSU’s loknath Mahto were hopeful of their win and in the morning both came in the marketing yard premises where counting was to be held. From first round BJP candidate Jayant Sinha started leading the table and seeing the trend after third round AJSU’s loknath Mahto left the campus followed by Saurav Narayan Singh who stayed till the completion of fifth round of counting.
