Talking with newsmen OIC sadar PS Inspector Jeetendra Singh said that our sources informed us that the jawan of Jharkhand police Sirajul Hoda is involved in illegal trade of drugs in Hazaribagh town and recently he had received drug from his fellows in this trade. On this concrete information we searched his room in Hazaribagh police line and recovered 2kg opium from his personal box. The jawan had been taken into custody and search of his fellows is going on.
Inspector Jeetendra Singh informed that the jawan and his two allies namely Md. Kayum of Romi Hazaribagh and Md. Shakil of Palamu are involved in this illegal trade in Hazaribagh town. Sirajul Hoda is a resident of Panki, Palamu. He was living alone here at Hazaribagh. Hoda is an accused of case no. 108/15 and was in jail with his other allies in mobile snatching case. Three months ago he came out of jail and was posted at Hazaribagh where he was living in local police line.
