Jharkhand Agency for Promotion of Information and Technology (JAP-IT) CEO KK Sinha on Friday appealed E-District Managers, Assistant Programmers and CSC District Managers to take oath of ensuring time-bound and hassle-free service to citizens. In a one day workshop and training programme organised at Project Building, he said that agencies needed to play a team game rather than blame game, which is hampering various e-governance processes in the State.
The programme was organised to provide training to E-District Managers, Assistant Programmers and District Managers of Common Service Centre (CSC), also famous as Pragya Kendra, for successful operation of all e-governance related programmes in the State. Senior officials of JAP-IT and NIC also gave them detailed information about their role in dispensation of these services and how to manage and operate a Pragya Kendra successfully.
“Jharkhand is a role model for most of the States as far as opting and implementing e-governance in various public oriented services is concerned. This is why not only giving prompt and hassle-free service to all citizens must be our prime focus, but competing with ourselves is also equally important if we want to keep Jharkhand on top in e-governance among states. I am going to initiate a district level competition in providing e-governance services and want no district to lag behind in the run,” said Sinha.
Many of the Managers working at ground level in villages and sub-divisions were found lacking some information about CSC, Jhar Sewa (E-District) and Jharkhand State Right to Guarantee Service Act (RTGSA). They were provided the information in detail during workshop. Joint Secretary (IT) Awdhesh Singh, OSD JAP-IT RK Gupta, Director (land and Revenue) Rajiv Ranjan, Director (IT) UP Sah, Assistant Director (IT) UK Singh, Deputy Secretary (IT) Al Satyajeet and officials of NIC were also present.
