A free health check-up camp was organised under a social project by Inner Wheel Club (IWC) of Koderma in Association with HMRI Hospital, Patna, at Rotary Bhawan, Jhumari Telaiya on Saturday. The health camp aimed at promoting long-term health seeking behaviours for the participants.
In this medical camp, the team of doctors like Dr Shashi Kumar (General Physician), Dr Shishir Kumar (Cardiologist),Dr. Rajiv Sharan (Cancer Specialist ) checked problems related to health, heart and other disorders. Around 150 people were benefited from the camp.These camps also majorly work on building awareness regarding common ailments, nutrition, hygiene and sanitation. The camp provided comprehensive health services like blood test, blood pressure check up, ECG free of any cost.The programme was also aimed at educating people about cancer and also that its treatment is possible if detected early. The camps witnessed participation of people from all walks of life.
Project Director Rajani Kandhawey and Ranjita Seth , Reena Khetan (President), Ritu seth (Secretary), Veena Bhadani, Jyoti Jha, Jyoti Pujara, Amarjeet Chhabra,Arati Bhadani,Deepali Bhadani,Mukta Barhapuria ,Sarita Vijay Rani Kalra of IWC were also present at the moment.
