The BSNl broadband services in Daltonganj has become most erratic, irregular and non-functional. BSNl internet facility is off the hook for 20 to 22 hours in 24 hours period. Sources said this situation is prevailing over the last fifteen days with there is none to look into it. Calls to Daltonganj telephone exchange remain unanswered.
Stung by this highly shabby broadband services DIG police Palamu Saket Kumar Singh told The Pioneer on Saturday ‘Our Wi-Fi system is also non-functional and it gives us immense pain. I am not able to connect my officers who have BSNl numbers’
DIG said, “If the BSNl broadband services continue to be so irregular then I will not hesitate to shoot off a strong missive to BSNl’s higher authorities asking them to disengage the Wi-Fi system in our complex and then we will look for some regular internet facility provider.”
DIG reiterated the BSNl is testing our patience thereby little realising that its poor services will cause it immense harm financially.
In the wake of the frequent break-down of BSNl network here people find it hard to call the police stations in distress. Daltonganj police station’s officer in-charge official cell phone number is 94317 06249. It does not connect since BSNl services are down.
