With concern to preserve the Ozone layer, International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone layer 2015 was observed at DPS Bokaro on Wednesday.
A special assembly was organised on the theme 'Healing of the Ozone Together' to spread the awareness towards preservation of ozone layer.
The students presented the quotes and speech on the concerned environmental issues.
The importance of ozone was emphasised through a poem composed by Anas Zaid of Class 7 and recited by Pratistha Mishra of Class 7. While Apurva Chaudhary of Class X delivered a speech to sensitize the students for the preservation of ozone layer.
Expressing their concern over the depletion of the ozone layer Director and Principal, Vice Principal DPS, Bokaro said that its prime responsibility of every citizen to protect the environment and save trees from depletion.
Duos urge mass to plant saplings which will help in protecting earth's environment and prevent the depletion of Ozone.
