Bokaro district administration is all set to conduct a two-day State festival ‘International Sarna Mahadharam Convention -2018’ at Lugu Buru Thambardhi, Drolomad, at Lalpania in Gomia block. The festival will begin today.
Bokaro DDC Ravi Ranjan Mishra on Tuesday visited the venue to take stock of the preparations. Mishra directed all the concerned officials that there should not be any discomfort in drinking water and toilets for the visitors under the Chief Minister’s pilgrimage scheme at the festival. Notably, Under the Mukhyamantri Tirtha Darshan Yozana’ people will be brought here from every district for the religious journey.
He asked his officials to make it sure that the programme is conducted successfully in a peaceful atmosphere. Later DDC minutely reviewed each and every preparation for the Mela. “We are fully prepared successful conduct the program. All the concerned officials have been given responsibility related to the preparation of the festival,” he said.
“Since it is a state festival, so we will leave no stone unturned for its successful completion,” added Mishra.
A few days earlier the State Land and Revenue Minister Amar Kumar Bauri also visited the site and directed the officials to make it ensure that the programme gets grand success with the help of organising committee and State Government officials.
The Minister asked the officials for arrangement of drinking water and lighting in the 7 kilometers distance from Darbar Rocky to Lugu Baba. He also issued a directive to the PHED and Electricity Departments for proper arrangements.
Bauri also asked the Department of Tourism director to set up a dormitory tent for the arrangement of 2000 people.
