In an endeavour to create awareness on the need for safe blood donation and encourage people, a blood donation camp is being organised by Inner Wheel Club at Jamshedpur Blood Bank on Tuesday from 10 am. The camp is being organised by the club’s East and West chapters.
Reema Adesara, a senior functionary of the club emphasised on the importance of voluntary blood donation and encouraged people to contribute actively to create a bank of safe blood.
“We, urge the citizens of Jamshedpur to come forward for voluntary blood donation at Jamshedpur Blood Bank which is open from 10.00 AM to 3.00 PM’ said Reema.
Any healthy person who is between age group of 18-60 years, not suffering from any disease ailment, not under any medication and can easily donate blood in the interval of 90 days.“Your voluntary blood donation will help us in a big way to cater the demand of needy patients,” she noted. She also said that this kind of activity helps a lot in maintaining social amity.
