It’s a bonanza for newly-elected president of Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) Amitabh Chaudhary.
Ranchi has bagged one more one-day international (ODI) match during the India-Australia series. The seven-match series will be held from October 10 to November 2.
“It will be a great pleasure for people of Jharkhand. They will once again witness a great match between India and Australia. It’s a great honour for us that the BCCI has allotted one more ODI to the Ranchi stadium,” said JSCA secretary Rajesh Verma.
A JSCA release stated, “Impressed by the flawless conducting of the maiden ODI and two IPl games, BCCI has awarded another ODI in a back-to-back India-Australia series.” The decision was taken at the tour programme and fixtures committee meeting of the BCCI in Kolkata on Sunday afternoon.
