Independence is happiness

For a living, nothing is more precious than independence and liberty. Though its form varies from person to person, making it a subjective assessment, but the essence, the objective, is same that is ‘a sense of, on one’s own’. To a greater extent its true too. We take birth as an individual so we need to have the spark that set our mind to something. A human being is composed of variant vibes and with changing phase of life distinct rage rule the roost, giving independence a different inclination. For a child who is crawling, walking is an independence. For a student, having a job is independence. For an employee, becoming his own boss is independence. The list goes on but the core is same.

 Now the prime question is why independence is a much mattering issueIJ And the answer is because its thrills you with happiness. It makes meaning to your life. It fills you with optimism, gives you peace of mind and delights you with joviality.But this self – rule can be blissful only if it is channelized. One should be independent enough to accommodate in every situation, to welcome a new thought, to approach a problem with all possible means but with a humble attitude. Modesty is always marvelous as it is inbred with self – consciousness. It makes you learn the lesson of contentment, failing which one will easily be imbued with ego, jealousy, arrogance and this in turn will make independence rude, blunt, bossy and aloof.

Also, in this postmodern era, truth determining is a difficult task, as it depends on situation. What is wrong for one can be logical for other.Truth can be personal, communal and even cosmic. It is multi – faceted. And so the parameter of absolute is uncertain.Yet, to live faithfully between the absence of absolute certainty and the abyss of extreme relativism,we have to be in the middle ground which promotes humility and conviction. One must be open – minded, considerate, and accomodating to handle any situation. Always remember, that we are free in society but we cannot be free to society. This attitude towards life will give a neutral approach and neutrality always leads to balance. Sense of balance and perspective in life call attention to faith, our inner strength, which grants an opportunity to create ourselves, advocating happiness.Wish you all a very Happy Independence Day.
