Increasing acceptance of youth in politics

Published on:

The ideologies of Tejashwi Yadav ji, who left his mark as a young leader in Bihar elections, and our party, are like two banks of a river. But only by keeping a close watch on the quality and merit of the opposition parties, other political parties can / should correct their shortcomings. Despite political consensus-disagreement and contrary ideology, there should be no hesitation in accepting that Tejashwi has done better on his own. The biggest thing behind this is his youthfulness, energetic approach and increasing acceptance and intervention of youths in politics.

Anyway, youth are called the harbinger of change and revolution. It would be suicidal for other parties to ignore the lessons from the Bihar elections and the growing acceptance of the younger generation. The Bihar election result has sparked a new debate to introspect on the participation of youth in the country's politics and timely use of their energy. Time is right that the parties have to rise above the paper slogans of youth participation in their parties.

If the parties still do not care, if the pulse of political stance remains deliberately unknown, then its far-reaching political damage cannot be ruled out. In Bihar, the margin of defeat-win on many seats is less than 1000 votes; it means that if a little more effort was done, the challenges would be even more difficult. There is a big role of youth in this. These things need to be understood and implemented by other parties. It is generally seen that in political parties, people spend their entire youth and then they get tickets or big responsibility. In many parties the secondline is not prepared.

The time now is to make good use of the younger generation and their energy by stepping with time. The subject or purpose here is not to question the political capacity of the aged and experienced people, but the proper and meaningful participation of the youth. A radical change in politics can be done only with the participation of the youth. Hopefully, all the parties taking a lesson from the Bihar elections will take positive steps on the political participation of the youth.
