A rally was organised by JVM on Wednesday at lutheran ground demanding to include Nagesia in ST category. It was started from lutheran ground and reached to district head office ground.
They surrounded the district office.
On the occasion Supremo Babulal Marandi and ex-MlA Bandhu Tirkey said, “Jharkhand Government is poor protestant. The poor farmers of Nagesia community were included earlier in ST category but now they have been deprived of it. The community was included in the list since 1950 but govt has kept them out of getting the facility now.”
On the occasion Duman Sahu, Prakash Nayak, Sanjay Nagesia, Meena Nagesia and others were present.
