BSL's ADM Services extends help to needy
“Ispat Sparsh” a group of officers and personnel of BSL, is constantly receiving the support of steel workers to help the needy during the lockdown period. In the same series, ADM Services Co-operative Societies of BSL has also extended a helping hand to the needy. Sujay Kumar, Chairman of ADM Services Co-operative Societies and General Manager (Finance & Accounts) of BSL, presented a cheque of fifteen thousand rupees to Ispat sparsh team in the presence of Mukul Prasad, Executive Director (Personnel and Administration). On behalf of Ispat Sparsh, Deputy General Manager (CSR) of BSL and CRK Sudhanshu, also Member of Ispat Sparsh received the cheque from Kumar. During this occasion General Manager (Liaison and Administration) Shri BJ Prakash and other officials were present.
3 killed in road mishap in Chuttupalu Valley
In tragic incident three persons died when a Trailer and a Tractor collided at Chuttupalu Valley on Ranchi-Ramgarh road on Wednesday. Traffic on NH was interrupted for some time due to the accident. Receiving the information of the incident, a police team of Ramgarh Police Station reached on the spot and took all the dead bodies and sent them for postmortem. The dead persons were not identified until the report was filed. The trailor, coming from Ranchi, hit a tractor from its backside near Ramgarh valley. The collision was so strong that trailor became imbalanced and turned towards the ditch. A truck was standing next to which Taylor collided. In this incident both the trailor and the Tractor were completely damaged.
Uday Kotak becomes new CII president
The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) today announced new office-bearers for the year 2020-21. Uday Kotak, Managing Director & CEO, Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited, has assumed office as the President of CII for 2020-21. He takes over from Vikram Kirloskar, Chairman and Managing Director of Kirloskar Systems Ltd., and Vice Chairman of Toyota Kirloskar Motor. Kotak has been associated with CII for over two decades and has served in many capacities in CII. He has been the Chairman of CII Economic Affairs Council, Financial Sector Development Council, Services Council, Corporate Governance Council, Banking Committee, Capital Markets Committee and Financial Services Committee over the last many years. Mr. Kotak was also the President- Designate for the last two years.
