Hinduism is a symbol of self-pride. It is rich with Vedic, spiritual, and astrological knowledge—a beautiful blend of experience and faith. Unlike other religions, Sanatan Dharma has no single founder. It’s not based on any one person, but on the deep wisdom and spiritual experiences of ancient sages. They believed this knowledge came from a divine source and is a guiding light for humanity.
Hinduism doesn’t promote blind faith—it teaches discipline, yoga, meditation, philosophy, and self-reflection. Today’s youth are curious and technologically advanced, but many lack spiritual balance, values, and inner awareness. That’s why having a true Guru is essential—someone who provides a life path that leads not just to success, but also peace, purpose, and inner strength.
In my view, a living Guru is best—someone you can talk to, share your emotions with, and get personal guidance from. A wise and present Guru can truly help you stay strong and positive even in tough times. Otherwise, struggling alone with your thoughts can be painful.
Since ancient times, saints and sages have been highly respected in India. Lord Ram had Gurus like Vashistha and Vishwamitra. Lord Krishna was guided by Rishi Sandipani. Shivaji’s greatness came with Swami Ramdas’s teachings. In Indian culture, the Guru is considered even greater than God. A Guru offers knowledge, guidance, protection, and plants the seeds of confidence, discipline, wisdom, and dharma.
In today’s fast-paced, tech-driven world—full of smartphones, internet, and competition—the role of a Guru is even more important. Too much information causes confusion. There’s a visible lack of patience, values, and self-awareness. Only a true Guru can help young people find balance and live a peaceful, meaningful life.
We should not think of a Guru as just a school or college teacher. Anyone who brings a positive change in our life, teaches us good values, and shows us the right path—is a Guru. Parents, elders, teachers, saints, and even life experiences can be Gurus. Young people should respect such wise individuals, follow their teachings, and make them role models. Walking on the path shown by a Guru not only brightens one’s future, but helps build a better society and nation.
To today’s youth: Understand that the coming years will be challenging. Include spirituality and yoga in your daily routine. It will make you stronger and more successful—this is my heartfelt blessing.
