UD case in ADG’s son death
Ranchi police have registered a case of unnatural death in connection with death of ADG Tadasha Mishra’s son under the Doranda police station area. The youth Atendra Mishra aged 25 had received bullet injuries from the service revolver of his bodyguard Vinit Kumar Sinha while going towards airport to catch a flight for Bangaluru on Friday. “We have registered a UD case in this connection. The statement of the bodyguard regarding the incident would be investigated,” said the Doranda officer in-charge in this connection. He added there was certainly negligence on the part of the bodyguard in the incident.
SBPS holds Annual Sports Day
Annual Sports Day, UDAAN-2018 was celebrated at SBPS with great enthusiasm on Saturday. The spirit of the occasion was ushered in with a grand reception of the eminent guests, march past, hoisting of school flag and oath taking ceremony. The eminent guests Dau Lall Binani and his better half, Treasurer, Bharat Arogya & Gyan Mandir declared the Annual Sports meet open and released balloons in the presence of the dignitaries. Chanchal Bhattacharya former coach of M. S. Dhoni, Shivendra Dubey, President, Youth Hostels Association of India and Treasurer, Jharkhand Olympiad Association and Wushu Association of India, Rashmi Sinha, Principal, Guru Govind Singh Public School, Kamare, V. K. Singh, Principal, DAV Bariatu , Dr. V. K. Singh, Controller of Examination, Sarala Birla University, Pradip Varma, Head Personnel & Admin and Principal Paramjit Kaur graced the occasion. The Rigveda house was adjudged the Best House in sports. It was a day filled with sportsmanship, enthusiasm and memories to cherish.
Annual exhibition of DAV Hbg
The annual exhibition and festival was inaugurated by the chief guest Inspector General and Director Jharkhand Police Academy, Hazaribag T Kandsamy, and the guest of honour Ramesh Behara on Friday at senior wing by lighting the inaugural lamp. The chief guest in his address to the students said that such kind of functions increase the scientific temperament of students. It is an opportunity to exhibit students’ hidden talents.
