29K employees of ECR get vaccinated
In view of the increasing infection of the coronavirus a number of steps have been taken by the East Central Railway in the larger health interest of the railway personnel. Working in this direction till May 04, about 36 per cent of the total staff of ECR has been vaccinated. Working as planned in the direction of vaccination, till 04.05.2021, out of total 81706 employees of ECR, 28844 employees were vaccinated in various railway hospitals. Among them, out of 2564 officers / employees working in the headquarters, 800 railway workers were given Covid vaccination. A large vaccination campaign is also being conducted in the mandals. 4919 out of 14640 railwaymen in Danapur, 3359 out of 10804 railwaymen in Samastipur, 5553 out of 12820 railwaymen in Sonpur, 3057 out of 14722 railwaymen in Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay and 9949 out of 22401 railwaymen working in Dhanbad division were vaccinated. Apart from this, 1208 railway personnel have been vaccinated out of a total of 3755 railwaymen of Harnaut Railway Workshop, Construction Organization, Plant Depot / Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Mandal and Samastipur Workshop. The process of vaccination is going on continuously and soon 100 per cent of the railway personnel will be provided with the vaccine so that the railway personnel can successfully discharge their responsibilities without any fear.
