CCRS nod to Saraigarh-Raghopur line
Chief Commissioner of Railway Safety, Sailesh Kumar Pathak, inspected the 11 km long gauge-bound Saraigarh-Raghopur railway block of Samastipur division of East Central Railway on August 14. This section is a part of the Saharsa-Saraigarh-Farbisganj gauge conversion project. During the inspection, speed trial was also done at a speed of 110 km per hour by the Chief Commissioner of Safety. After inspection, the Chief Railway Safety Commissioner has approved the operation of trains at the speed of 100 Kmph, meeting safety and safety standards.
Parcel express trains
Several parcel express trains are being run by Indian Railways for the purpose of ensuring availability of essential commodities. A time table has been set for the operation of these parcel trains and it is being operated accordingly. Of the special Parcel Express trains run by Railways, two pairs of trains are opening/ending from East Central Railway jurisdiction and six pairs of trains passing through East Central Railway jurisdiction and have been stopped at various stations. Schedule of special parcel trains and other details (National Train Inquiry System) is available on the website. Some of these parcel special trains are being run weekly or two or three days a week.
E-symposium at IIM Ranchi
Atal Bihari Vajpayee Centre for Leadership, Policy and Governance (ABVCLPG) under the aegis of IIM- Ranchi conducted an e-symposium titled ‘Women of Faith Series-II’ on Thursday. Deepa Mala- Founder, The Visual House, Saily Lad- Director, Volksara Techno Solutions and Neeta Adappa- Founder, Prakriti Herbals were the speakers for the event who shared their journeys as women entrepreneurs. The speakers spoke about how they have changed challenges into opportunities and opportunities into success stories. The mantra to achieve success is to observe, learn, build a team, take small steps, strategize and achieve new goals. To ensure success an entrepreneur has to handle all the departments be it HR, Finance, Marketing, Operations while each department also has to run consistently. Birth anniversary of Dorabji Tata
The Jharia Division of Tata steel on Thursday paid rich tributes to its first Chairman Sir Dorabji Tata on his 161st Birth Anniversary at Sir Dorabji Tata Park, Jamadoba- Jharia . Strict physical distancing norms was maintained while paiying tributes to Sir Dorabji. Besides, Sanjay Rajoria, General Manager (Jharia Division) Tata Steel along other senior officials, employees and union representatives of the Division paid floral tributes at the park which is named in his honour at Jamadoba. Addressing employees Rajoria recollected the milestones and achievements of Sir Dorabji Tata's life and sought the commitment of all those present to his vision and values. "The vision and values of Dorabji, continue to remain extremely relevant even today" he said. Senior company officials including Debashis Banerjee, Chief (HRM) Tata Steel and Narendra Kumar Gupta, Chief (Sijua Group) besides union officials too were present suring the occasion.
‘Disposable bed linen’ booth
"Disposable bed linen" booth has been launched for the convenience of passengers on platform number one of Ranchi railway station on Thursday. From this booth, now interested passengers can buy disposable linen at a fixed price. You are all aware that, keeping in mind the transition of Kovid-19, linen is not being supplied in trains by the Railway Administration, due to which passengers had to bring linen from their home but now the disposable linen booth is available at the station The facility of getting linen has been made available at the station itself to the passengers during their journey.
133 new corona cases in Dhanbad
A total of 133 corona positive patients were found in Dhanbad according to medical report released by the health authorities on late Wednesday night. Out of these 97 cases happen to be found positive while tested upon rapid test kit.The district administration had arranged for over 3000 rapid kits for holding tests at different location within Dhanbad Municipal Corporation limits. Surprisingly, the protests found positive happen to be those residing in densely populated areas of coal city including Hirapur , housing colony, bank more , Godhar besides others.
