Newspaper owner Abhay Singh passes away
The owner and editor-in-chief of a daily Hindi newspaper, Abhay Singh passed away on Friday. He died at Gurunanak Hospital at 5 am. According to the information Singh was ill for the last two days. He was infected with Corona. Gurunanak Hospital management informed his wife on Friday morning that Abhay Singh's condition was critical. In a hurry, Singh's family reached Guru Nanak Hospital.
Special train between Madan Mahal and Singrauli
Special train will be operated between Madan Mahal (Jabalpur) and Singrauli of Dhanbad division for the convenience of passengers from 05.09.2020. 01651 Madan Mahal-Singrauli Special train will be operational from 05.09.2020 and 01652 Singrauli-Madan Mahal Special train will start from 06.09.2020.

Inauguration of tire handling machine at BSL

New guidelines of ICMR for release
Health department officials in Dhanbad have adopted new guidelines for release of mild corona positive patients as per directive of Indian Council of Medical research (ICMR). Civil Surgeon Dr Gopal Das said, henceforth the corona patients having mild symptoms would be discharged within 10 days without having second confirmatory test by RT-PCR if they do not develop fever in next three days after the tenth day of admission to Covid hospital.

Woman commits suicide with 2 daughters
A 67-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide along with her two minor daughters on Thursday afternoon by jumping into pond at village Saro under Bisunpura police station of the district. Police sources said that the reason for the drastic step is said to be a dispute with her daughter in law.
